Getting “Canada only”? Tell us!

I’ve been reading a lot of comments that people are getting blocked from watching videos because of the “Canada Only” screen.

The good news is we are about to launch a bunch of new players for TSN and CTV News that will be fully accessible to our American friends :) The bad news, is for a lot of our full episodes, we only have the rights to show it in Canada :(

But for those of you living in Canada who are seeing the “Canada only” message, there’s definitely something wonky going on there and we’re working on it. Please post a comment in this blog entry if you are being blocked incorrectly, and we’ll check out your IP and see what’s going on.

Thanks again for telling us about a problem! We’re going to do our best to get it fixed ;)

Windows explorer shuts down when I try to play the game and the video player doesn’t work when I try to watch the videos

I understand the “Canadian Rights” issue and appreciate it.
What I don’t appreciate is being blocked only AFTER sitting through the commercial!!
If you’re not going to show the video, don’t waste my time with your commercials…

@Dennis - We mark the clips that are geo-blocked with a Canadian flag so you’ll know which ones you’ll be able to watch before you click and watch the commercial.

Canadian Only? I am Canadian! and attempting to view the seismic clip from downtown Calgary, Alberta. Help!

Works well. However, twice I noticed that the none of the videos were connecting. The loading circle would just continue to spin with no video resulting. Each time this happened I closed the browser and had to reopen. Once I reopened the browser, everything worked fine again.

I was using a Rogers cable internet connection, an AMD 64 X2 Dual Core Processor, Windows XP pro SP2, Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.12.

By the way… THIS WEBSITE IS GREAT! THANK YOU!

It sucks that a video clip made in Toronto about a US citizen can’t be watched in the US! :(

I’m using Firefox 2.0.0.12 on WinXP SP2
I find the steaming quality even at full screen to be excellent. Thanks for all the quality online shows. Especially on the Comedy Network.
My only problem is when a clip ends it will not automatically play the next one after it is finished. Goes out of full screen and the loading circle just keeps going around. I have to reload the page and find the clip I was watching to restart it.

Having to use User Agent Switcher to get working on Linux. Some videos are fine but some come up with the Canada only error. Why block Linux users? Also I am Canadian and my ISP is TBayTel. Otherwise works good…

I’m in Canada and am being blocked.
